Patient One Fat Soluble Vitamins Complete supplies a diverse antioxidant complex of vitamins A, D, E and K1 and K2, mixed carotenoids, and mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols. Our highly absorbable formula promotes powerful antioxidant activity, helps to stabilize and optimize cell membranes, including the energy producing mitochondria, and modulates inflammatory response.*
This blend of fat-soluble vitamins – including all 8 forms of vitamin E plus potent carotenoids – supports healthy macular function, enhances skin tone, supports auditory function, promotes healthy bone mineral density, and provides protection for brain and cardiovascular function via multiple mechanisms.*
Key Ingredients
A full complement of Vitamin A – beta carotene, alpha beta carotene (as Alphabeads®), and palmitate – is supplied in this formula. Vitamin A has a critical role maintaining the structural integrity of the retina and is vital to healthy vision. Antioxidant protection from beta carotene can help maintain skin health and appearance and may protect the skin against UV radiation. In combination with Vitamin E, Vitamin A plays a supportive role against age-related hearing loss.*
Mixed Carotenoids (Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin, Lycopene and Saffron) are well known for their pro-vitamin A activity. Lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin and lycopene are potent free radical scavengers, shown to support visual acuity as well as to reduce sensitivity and contrast in bright light. Additionally, they can enhance skin tone and support skin health with their UV-absorbing effects and blue light protection.*
Lutemax 2020® is a proprietary extract blend of lutein and zeaxanthin isomers (RR-zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin), which accumulate in the macula. These 3 nutritionally important macular carotenoids consumed for the long-term have shown to support increased macular pigment optical density (MPOD), which may prolong healthy vision in aging eyes.*
AstaPure® natural astaxanthin is also included. This powerful antioxidant, known as “the king of carotenoids,” stabilizes cell membranes by protecting them from free radical damage. It promotes healthy skin appearance by increasing skin elasticity and reducing fine lines and may help protect against effects of UV and blue light exposure. Astaxanthin also supports a healthy lipid balance.*
Lycopene as Lycomato® proprietary extract is provided to support overall cardiovascular wellness, healthy circulation, skin’s ability to defend itself from oxidative damage and photoaging, as well as prostate health and comfort. Lycomato was found to support
normal inflammation markers (e.g., TNF-a, CRP) and to promote normal endothelial function.*
Saffron is high in carotenoid antioxidants. Research enndings suggest saffron has inflammation-modulating effects and provides support for heart health, eye health and mood and sleep.
Vitamin D is provided in the bioavailable cholecalciferol (D3) form. In addition to promoting mineral balance in skeletal tissue, D supports immune health and supports proper cellular proliferation and differentiation. Vitamin D has recently been found to protect skin barrier function.
Vitamin K is provided as K1 (as phytonadione) along with K2 (as menaquinone-7). While vitamin D3 helps the body absorb more calcium, vitamin K helps transport calcium to bones and teeth rather than allowing it to rest in arteries and other soft tissues. This dual activity not only helps to promote bone health but also supports heart health.
Vitamins E, the TocoGaia™ Mixed Tocotrienols and Tocopherol Complex, provides the full spectrum of Vitamin E’s capabilities. With a natural balance of tocopherols plus a full complement of tocotrienols, the entire vitamin E complex acts to stabilize cell membranes, supports a healthy neurological system, and helps to maintain cardiovascular health. These biologically active forms of vitamin E provide potent antioxidant activity.*
